Nervos em Franja

   é uma angústia gigante ainda não saber se temos ou não família .. Vemos toda a gente à nossa volta a dizer que receberam família , os AFS'ers a publicarem no nosso grupo (sim , temos um grupo lindo no facebook) a dizerem que já têm família e o quão espectacular ela é , há quem já tenha feito inscrição na escola e já sabe as disciplinas q vai ter... e eu nada , continuo sem saber..

   mas , no outro dia , quando fizemos um jantar de AFS'ers , o nosso querido Mira disse que já sabia quem tinha ou não família , porque foi ver no site afs dos USA , o que nos deixou ,aos que ainda não sabem , com os nervos em franja . Então ele lá nos explicou como é que poderíamos ver !

   e eu, como sou uma atrasadinha só descobri hoje como é que se vê ! e lá fui eu ver , pus o zip code da minha área e, para surpresa minha, O MEU NOME JÁ NÃO ESTÁ NA LISTA DOS ESTUDANTES POR ACOLHER !!!.

Agora só falta mesmo receber a resposta final e oficial do afs portugal para saber se tenho mesmo ou não família ! e, sendo assim, devo ir dia 8 de Agosto embora, ou seja, daqui a duas semanas ! devo confessar que não estava mentalmente preparada para ir dia 8 porque como supostamente não tinha família ia embora no dia 24 de agosto, mas agora tenho que me preparar para ir dia 8 ! 

   portanto já vou começar a fazer a minha malinha, sim porque EU , Francisca Ribeiro, só posso levar UMA MALA ! quem me conhece bem sabe que uma mala para um ano inteiro é muito pouco mesmo.. c'est la vie !

   It's really hard not knowing if we have a host family or not... We see everyone around us saying they have families, all the Afs'ers publishing in our group (you know that's right, we have an awesome facebook group)  saying they have a family and how awesome they are, some people registred in their new High School and know what classes are gonna take... and here nothing, I still know nothing.

   But, the other day, when we were having an AFS dinner, our dear friend Mira saud he knew who had been selected by a host family, because he checked the AFS USA website, which made us really nervous. And gladly he decided to tell us how to cjeck it too.

   And I, the most retarded person in the world, just found it today. So i had to type in my area zip-code (Midwest) and, for my surprise, MY NAME IS NOT IN THERE ANYMORE!!!
   Now I just need to know the final and official answer from AFS Portugal, so I know if I really have a host family or not! And probably I will leave August 8th (2 weeks). I'm gonna be honest here, I am not mentally prepared to leave this soon, because I thought I didn't have a family yet, but now I really need to get ready!

   I already started packing, because I, Francisca Ribeiro, just can take one bag with me, ONE BAG! everyone that knows me well knows that one bag for a whole year is not enough ! C'est la vie!
